To the millions of people who are challenged by disease and face important decisions, we offer our sympathy, our understanding, and our promise to provide the highest quality information available to help you make the right choices. The Health of America
Americans are indeed concerned with their health, and with good reason. We are an aging population with rising rates of almost all diseases, both chronic and acute. The problem is that sickness care is VERY big business and when there is so much money at stake the truth can take a back seat to commercial interests. When disease is so profitable there is little incentive for corporate America to advance the cause of optimal health, and when corporations sponsor the news they definitely influence news content.
